Hi there, my name is John Reid.

Welcome to my little corner of the web...Epic Balloons!

I am a New York based artist, with over 25 years experience creating the unexpected.

In that time, I have managed to become an internationally recognized, award-winning balloon artist. My original and highly detailed sculptures are sought by everyone from large corporations to celebrities.

Some of my larger installations have been featured with Disney, the Martha Stewart Show, and The White House, where for 7 years I was the president’s balloon twister of choice for their 4th of July celebrations.

One of the things I am best known for is my balloon dresses – I have made over 100 dresses and counting, used in fashion shows, for rockstars, and even a wedding dress.

I am even regularly called on to teach other balloon twisters and judge balloon sculpting contests.

During my rare moments of free time, I enjoy sampling many different kinds of pie.
